God Bless you Ashia! I’m glad there were a couple of sisters to give you a little advice on what to tell your children when they ask about “daddy”. I agree 100%, never say anything bad about their father in front of them or even if you believe them to be out of earshot. Just keep your comments to yourself and let them know how much you love and care for them. Let them know that although the relationship did not work out that in no way diminishes the love that you both have for them.
God Bless you also Sis. Mickey! Be encouraged and continue to allow the Lord to comfort you and as you already know HE is THE COMFORTER. Sometimes we think God does not understand our plight but we have to remember that God gave HIS SON for US. HE most definitely understands and HE cares. Although many things in this life hurt to the very core of our being they are only to draw us closer to the Father. Always remember Jeremiah 29:11. That scripture has carried me through many days.
